You would think buying for boys would be incredibly easy, and while it isn’t rocket science, I think we own just about every hot wheels, dinosaur, and Blaze ever produced. So come Christmas time, I sincerely feel like I have to get creative.
I tried asking Noah what he wanted for Christmas, and his answer is always, “Nothing.” Seriously, every single time the boy will say that he wants nothing. Which melts my heart and also makes me want to pull my hair out all at the same time. He’s pretty much a mini version of his father. God love em. So I decided to put together a gift guide covering different categories of stuff we definitely want to get the boys, and things they already have and love.
WEAR Adidas Sneakers // Soft Pants // Beanie // Dinosaur Pajamas // Puffer Vest
READ Dragons Love Tacos // Gaston // Mr. Tiger Goes Wild // Goodnight Already!
WANT Speedster Racecar // Music Set // Bean Bag Toss // Art Easel
NEED Headphones // Undies // Night Light // Bookshelf
Since we are planning to go to New York for Christmas, we decided to order the headphones for the boys for the plane ride there and back. I’m also really obsessed with the robot bookshelf and cosmo night light!! Since we moved to our house last year, we have been working on one room at a time, and the play room has been last on the list. But when I saw this robot bookshelf from The Land of Nod I was totally sold. The boys love their books, but we have no real system for storing them, so this may be more of a need/want for mama as well as the boys!
We’ll probably end up just getting some of the above books and a couple of clothing items this year, because we are actually surprising Noah and Emmett with a trampoline since I honestly didn’t think there were many toys that they would want or need. Any time we go somewhere that has a trampoline, they could seriously bounce for hours, so we felt like this would be the perfect gift to work out some energy and be something that will be able to use for longer than six months.
I hope you guys find this gift guide helpful, and if there are any gifts that you guys are super excited to give this year to your kiddos, please share them with me!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and thanks for reading!
P.S. Mini Style for the Holidays.
